Founded in 2011 by Abdallahi Taki, Mauritanie Gazon Synthétique (MGS) was built on a simple but powerful vision: to give Mauritanian athletes the world-class infrastructure they deserve. Under his leadership, MGS has grown from a local installer to the leading sports construction company in Mauritania — completing 54+ projects across all 13 wilayas, and winning the 2023 National Sports Innovation Award from the Ministry of Sports. Abdallahi Taki continues to drive MGS forward with a commitment to quality, sustainability, and the development of sport across Africa.

Mission
Mauritanie Gazon Synthétique (MGS) specializes in the installation of synthetic turf for football pitches and other sports fields, as well as the design and construction of high-level sports facilities. We combine technical expertise, FIFA-certified materials, and a strong environmental commitment to deliver sustainable infrastructure adapted to the African and Mauritanian context.
Vision
By 2030, MGS aims to equip 100% of Mauritania's municipalities with quality sports infrastructure, become the regional leader in sustainable sports construction across the Maghreb and West Africa, create 500 additional direct jobs, and achieve carbon neutrality across all our operations.
